The Launch Spellbook: Chapter Five
Each Tuesday at 5:55am EST, until complete, I will publish one chapter from my new online marketing book, The Launch Spellbook. This is Chapter Five: Email Campaign Cauldron
🔮 Chapter 5: Email Campaign Cauldron
Email marketing is the art of casting spells through words and visuals that resonate deep within the hearts of your subscribers. Your email cauldron is where you brew the elixirs of connection and conversion. Each email you send is a dash of potion, a whispered incantation, a chance to beckon, engage, and transform. But beware the allure of spam-like sorcery – keep your emails valuable, relevant, and respectful of your subscribers' time and energy.
If you don’t have an email list, I highly, highly recommend starting one. You can use platforms like Kajabi, Convertkit (my personal favorite), Podia, or many of the dozens of others. If you don’t want to use an email list, you can use this chapter for content ideas and inspo, or head to Chapter 6 where we’ll talk about writing your sales page!
Your subscribers are not mere names on a list; they are your coven, your loyal followers, your fellow travelers on this (and their) magical journey. Nurturing these relationships is essential. Prioritize sending regular messages that provide value, insights, or entertainment, keeping the connection alive. (I recommend aiming for weekly emails or at least four monthly emails.
Listen to your community's responses and engage with their questions or feedback. Offer exclusive spells, discounts, or gifts as tokens of your appreciation. Remember, the bonds you forge with your subscribers can last a lifetime, so treat them with care and respect.
Here’s your launch email campaign cauldron:
You can schedule each of these emails to be sent automatically after someone subscribes. Send email one immediately after subscribing, then spread the remaining emails either one day or one week apart.
